You are always going to be the centre of your life. You are the first person that you think about in relation to the consequence of the next decision you’re going to make. Of course this is how it should be, it’s your life after all.
However sometimes I do get fed up of thinking about what I’m going to do today, why I should/shouldn’t do this and how did I do this wrong/right. It’s not all about me, myself and I. There are so many people in the world that are inspirations to me and to others. People that have created wonderful things and have amazing personalities. I’m going to make it my mission to pick one person every month who inspires me and write a blogpost about them for a change. I’m sure it will be nice for you to get a break from me 😛
Welcome to my new blog series Monthspiriation.
Who? Gabby Frost.
Age? 19 years old.
Why is she my Monthspiration? Gabby Frost is the founder of Buddy Project, a non-profit movement which is aimed at pairing people who have a mental illness, who have been bullied and people who have a negative attitude towards themselves together in order to try and prevent suicide and self-harm. The organisation promotes mental health for children, teenagers and young adults.
Gabby has won many well deserved awards ever since creating Buddy Project. Currently she is a member of Crisis Text Line‘s Youth Advisory Council, 1000 Dreams Fund‘s Student Advisory Board, and an ambassador for Clover Letter. She is a true inspiration to many teenagers who have been paired with a new Buddy to help support each other in the tough times they’re going through.
